WHOLE WHEAT MUFFINS 1 c. flour 1/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. instant Ralston cereal or 3/4 c. regular Ralston 1 egg, beaten 3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. vegetable oil Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 medium size muffin cups. Stir together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and Ralston. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir only until moistened. Do not overmix. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cups immediately. Serve warm.
