CHOCOLATE PIE 2 c. milk 3/4 c. sugar 4 Tbsp. cocoa 2 Tbsp. flour pinch of salt 3 egg yolks 1 Tbsp. butter 1 Tbsp. vanilla Heat milk in double boiler, mix dry ingredients to egg yolks. (Add a little milk before putting in double boiler. Cook until thick, stirring constantly, add butter and vanilla. Pour in baked pie crust. Add meringue and brown slowly in 350 degrees oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Meringue: 3 egg whites 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 6 Tbsp. sugar Beat egg whites stiff, add cream of tartar and sugar.
