PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH PIE|
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. A.1. sauce (to pour
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Beat egg and sugar together. Sift flour, salt and
baking powder together. Add to first mixture. Add apples,
walnuts and vanilla and put in greased glass pie plate, 9-inch
size. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
