POPPY SEED LOAF|
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. c. oil
1 c. poppy seed
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chopped walnuts
Beat eggs until thick and light. Add sugar, oil, poppy
seed and milk. Blend flour, baking powder and salt and mix
with egg mixture. Add flavoring and nuts. Pour into 2 (9 x 5
x 3-inch) greased and floured loaf tins. Bake at 325 degrees for 1
hour or until tests done.
