GLAZED STRAWBERRY PIE 1 qt. strawberries 1 c. water 1 c. sugar 3 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 baked pie crust Simmer 1 cup crushed berries with 2/3 cup water approxi- mately 3 minutes. Blend sugar, cornstarch and remaining1/3 cup water. Boil 1 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool mixture slightly. May add small amount of red food color if desired. Fill cooked pie shell with all but a few choice berries. Do not cut berries. Pour glaze over berries in pie shell, being sure they are all covered. Chill pie completely. Cover with whipped cream and decorate with reserved berries.
