ROLLS FOR DAYS

1 1/4 c. milk
2 pkg. yeast
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted butter
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
more melted butter

Heat milk to lukewarm. Stir in yeast. Let stand or
stir until dissolved. Beat eggs in a large greased bowl. Add
sugar; stir in salt and yeast mixture and beat until smooth.
Add melted butter. Blend in flour by hand, 1 cup at a time.
Cover and let stand in warm place until doubled in size. Dough
will be sticky, so sift flour on top. Pick up and roll out on
board. Roll 1/2-inch thick. Cut with a 1 1/2 to 2-inch
cutter. Dip each roll in butter; fold over and place in a
greased pan. Let rise. Bake in 400 degrees oven for 15 minutes or
until brown. Rolls may be frozen. Allow 6 hours to thaw and
rise. Makes 4 to 5 pans of rolls.
