CUSTARD PIE 2 eggs 1/4 c. sugar 2 c. milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla pinch of nutmeg 1 unbaked pie crust Scald milk. Pour over beaten eggs and sugar. Add vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Pour into crust. Bake in a hot 400 degrees oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 300 degrees and cook until crust is firm. Also can be baked in a bowl that is sitting in water without a crust.
