KARO NUT PIE

3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. dark Karo
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. nuts
1/3 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add all other ingredients,
adding nuts last. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees
for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 200 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes
or until knife blade comes out clean. (I prefer to use 9-inch
Corning Ware or Pyrex pie plate and make my crust from
"scratch.")
