1/2 lb. oleo
1/2 c. sugar
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 eggs
6 or 7 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
2/3 stick butter

Cream together oleo and sugar. Pour 1 cup boiling water
over this and let it stand. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add
to the mixture after it has cooled enough. Beat eggs until
thick. Add to mixture. Work in flour and salt. Mix well.
Let rise in a warm place. Work down, then let rise again.
Then proceed to make whatever you have in mind.
For Streusel for coffee cake, mix flour, sugar and
softened butter together with fingers.
