FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 1 baked pie shell 1 pt. fresh strawberries 3/4 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. water 1 Tbsp. oleo red food coloring 1 c. heavy cream, whipped or Cool Whip 1 tsp. lemon juice Wash berries, drain on paper towel, then slice. Chill berries while cooking glaze. Mix sugar and cornstarch, then add remaining ingredients (except whipped cream) and cook until thick. Put berries in crust. Pour hot mixture over berries at once. Cool and spread with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
