FRENCH RAISIN PIE|
1/2 c. oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. seedless raisins
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. vinegar
pinch of salt
Cream butter and salt; add sugar slowly. Add eggs one
at a time and beat enough to blend. Stir in raisins, pecans,
spices and vinegar. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 30
to 40 minutes. This recipe requires a 10-inch deep pie shell.
