IRISH SODA BREAD 3 1/4 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. margarine 1 1/3 c. buttermilk 1/3 c. raisins Combine dry ingredients, cut in margarine. Add the buttermilk and raisins. Mix just until moistened. Turn out on floured surface and knead 10 times. Shape into a round loaf. Cut deep cross on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour on a greased cookie sheet. Delicious toasted!
