SIX MONTHS REFRIGERATOR MUFFINS (Yields 5 1/2 Quarts) 1 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 qt. buttermilk 1 box Nabisco 100% bran cereal 1 (1 lb.) box raisins 5 c. flour 5 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. lukewarm water In a huge mixing bowl cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Stir in buttermilk. Add 1/2 box Nabisco bran cereal and raisins and mix. Mix flour with salt and soda. Add water to mixture and mix. Add remaining bran and mix well. Once mixed, never mix again. Place in large container(s) in refrigerator and it will keep up to 6 months. Use as needed or give as a gift. Spoon into cupcake liners or greased muffin pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
