2 1/2 c. flour (more if
1 c. buttermilk
1 yeast cake
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. cooking oil
Heat milk to lukewarm. Remove from stove and crumble
yeast into it. Stir thoroughly. Add oil and soda. Sift
together other dry ingredients. Then stir into the yeast
mixture; roll and cut. Let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 450 degrees for
10 to 15 minutes.
