REFRIGERATOR BISCUITS 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 c. warm water 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 6 c. self-rising flour 2 c. buttermilk Mix yeast, water, sugar and shortening. Add 2 cups flour and mix well. Then add milk and remaining flour alter- nately. Place in airtight container and refrigerate until chilled (approximately 1 hour). Roll out on floured surface to about 1-inch thickness, then cut out. Bake at 400 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet until brown. Unused dough may be stored in airtight container in refrigerator in 1 week.
