BANANA NUT BREAD 1/4 c. shortening 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. Jiffy baking mix 1 c. crushed bananas (ripe, 2 to 3 medium) 1/3 c. chopped nuts Cream shortening and sugar. Combine remaining ingredi- ents and mix until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 55 minutes. Grease loaf pan, 9 x 5-inches. Cool on rack before slicing.
