BUTTERSCOTCH PIE

1 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks
4 tsp. butter
1/2 c. vanilla

Place sugar and flour in saucepan. Add milk slowly.
Cool until thickens. Remove 1/2 cup mixture and add 2 beaten
egg yolks. Blend well and return to mixture; cook 2 more
minutes. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell.
Spread with meringue or Cool Whip.
