BUTTERSCOTCH PIE

1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg yolk
1 c. milk

Cream sugar and butter together, enough to moisten.
Heat slowly until sugar dissolves. Beat cornstarch, egg yolk
and milk together; pour into syrup. Cook until it thickens.
Pour into baked pie crust.
