BANANA NUT BREAD 1/2 stick margarine, softened 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 c. broken pecans 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 bananas, mashed 1/2 tsp. baking soda pinch of salt Cream margarine and sugar together in bowl. Add eggs and bananas, mixing well. Sift flour and baking soda together into batter, blending thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredi- ents. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
