APPLE CHESS PIE 1 1/2 c. fine chopped tart apples 1 1/4 sticks margarine 1 1/2 tsp. corn meal 3 extra large eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar Melt margarine over low heat, stir in sugar, remove from heat. Add vinegar, vanilla, meal and well beaten eggs. Stir in apples. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake until pastry is golden brown and filling is set.
