ANGEL BISCUITS 5 c. self-rising flour 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. Crisco 2 c. buttermilk dash of salt 1/4 tsp. soda 2 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. warm water Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix all ingredients. Cut flour, salt, sugar and soda into Crisco. Add buttermilk and yeast. Mix well. Place on floured surface, cut out. Let rise until double. Bake in 400 degrees oven until light brown. Will keep in refrigerator for about a week. Take out desired amount and let rise before baking.
