YEAST BISCUITS

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. warm water

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water; add oil and
buttermilk. Add dry ingredients. Blend thoroughly until
consistency to make into biscuits or refrigerate in a covered
bowl for 2 to 3 days. Place in greased pan, let rise for few
minutes and bake at 400 degrees. If taken from refrigerator, allow a
little more time to rise.
