SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust 2 Tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar or more if needed 2 c. diced apples 1 unbeaten egg 1 c. dairy sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Topping: 1/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 c. flour 1/4 c. butter Sift together flour, salt and sugar. Place in bowl and add egg, sour cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat all this to a smooth thin batter. Blend in apples, pour into the pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees and then 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix topping and spread over pie and brown 10 minutes.
