WALNUT TARTS

unbaked tart shells
3 eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter or
margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
whipping cream for garnish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl with wire whisk, beat
eggs well. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until
well blended. Distribute chopped walnuts evenly among tart
shells. Carefully pour filling over walnuts. Bake 25 to 30
minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire
rack. Serve topped with whipped cream.
