CARAMEL ICE CREAM PIE

2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks margarine, melted
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 small jar caramel sauce

Mix all ingredients (except caramel syrup) and spread on
a cookie sheet with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
While warm, crumble and cool. Sprinkle half of mixture on
bottom of flat dish, 9 x 13-inch Pyrex is just right size.
Then pour half of caramel syrup over mixture. Top with rest of
caramel syrup. Freeze at least 2 hours. May serve with
whipped cream on top, but is rich enough as it is.
