CRUMB CAKE 2 1/2 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. shortening 1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. sour milk Mix flour, salt, sugar, shortening; mix into crumbs. Reserve 1 cup for top of cake. Dissolve the soda in sour milk. Add to crumb mix. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Easy to make and take along. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
