Part II: 1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 1 tsp. almond flavoring 3 eggs, unbeaten In a saucepan, heat water to boiling. Melt butter in it. Dump in flour all at once. Remove from heat. Beat until smooth. Immediately add one egg at a time. Beat after each addition until smooth and shiny. Add extract. Spread on top of strips. Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour at 375 degrees.
