DILL BATTER BREAD

1 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. dill weed
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. very warm water
1/3 c. softened butter
2 eggs
1 c. shredded Cheddar or
Monterey Jack

Put yeast, 1 cup flour, sugar, dill and salt in large
mixing bowl. Pour in water and beat until smooth. Add butter
and eggs. Beat until blended. Gradually add remaining flour;
beat well. Mix in cheese. Cover and let rise until double;
stir down. Turn into greased 2 quart casserole. Cover. Let
rise until double, about 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Makes 1 round loaf.
