RITZ CRACKER PIE (Or Mock Apple) 2 c. hot water 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. cream of tartar cinnamon butter 20 Ritz crackers Combine hot water, sugar and cream of tartar; bring to boiling. Add crackers and boil for 2 minutes. Stir and submerge crackers so all will be cooked. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter. Adjust top crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Then at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
