FRUIT COBBLER 1/4 c. soft butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 c. fruit juice Drain cherries, blackberries or peaches from No. 2 can. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar in the fruit. Cream the butter and sugar; stir in dry ingredients. Add milk; beat until smooth. Pour in a loaf pan or a quart casserole. Spoon the fruit over the batter. Sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
