CINNAMON ROLLS

1 two layer yellow cake mix
4 1/2 to 5 c. all-purpose
flour
2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
melted butter
brown sugar
cinnamon
raisins and nuts (optional)

In large bowl combine the cake mix and flour. (You may
use half whole wheat flour if desired) and yeast. Add the
water and knead or blend until it forms a ball. Cover with a
wet towel and let rise 2 hours. Roll out in a rectangle 1/4
inch thick. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle brown sugar and
cinnamon (nuts and raisins). Roll up from long side, cut into
rolls. Place in greased pan. Bake 20 minutes in 350 degrees oven.
Drizzle with powdered sugar icing.
