EASY MONKEY BREAD

1 pkg. hot roll mix
3/4 c. very warm water
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
5 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. whole thyme
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. rosemary leaves
1 egg
1/4 c. oleo, melted
poppy seed or sesame seed
(optional)

Grease 12 cup fluted tube pan or 2 1/2 quart ring mold.
In large bowl dissolve yeast from roll. Mix in warm water.
Stir in cheese, herbs, and egg. Add roll mixture and blend
well. On floured surface, knead dough until no longer sticky.
Roll out dough 12-inches square. Brush with 2 tablespoons
melted butter. Cut into 25 squares. Overlap each piece in
greased pan. Brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle with seed.
Cover. Let rise in warm place until doubled, 40 to 60 minutes.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from pan
immediately.
