NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 4 c. flour 1 3/4 c. shortening 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. cold water 1 egg, beaten (add to water) 1 Tbsp. vinegar Mix flour, sugar, salt and shortening until crumbly. Add water, egg and vinegar. Mix together. This keeps very well in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks. Dough is easy to handle and roll out.
