PEACHY QUICK COBBLER

1 (No. 2) can sliced peaches,
drained completely or 5
medium sliced fresh peaches
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1/2 stick butter
4 prepared pie crust shells or
make your own (I prefer to
make my own)

In 8 x 10-inch oblong pan, place pie crust (2 prepared).
Make sure sides of pan are covered by pressing in place with
your fingers. Pour or place peaches evenly in pan. Sprinkle
dry ingredients over peaches. Slice butter and space over
entire pan. Mix flavor with tablespoon of water and pour over
mixture in pan. Place pie crust (or last 2 prepared crusts) on
top of mixture, sealing top and bottom together by pressing
together with floured fork, then with fork put several holes in
top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until crust is
brown.
You can substitute apples or mix both. Try the mixture,
you'll like it.
