RICH PIE CRUST 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 small egg 2 Tbsp. sugar 3/4 c. shortening 1/2 c. milk Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture is the size of peas. Beat egg, milk and sugar together. Pour into flour mixture and stir enough to hold together. Roll out on floured board. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes on top rack. Fill with favorite cooked filling. This recipe is good for tart shells.
