PECAN PIE 1 stick margarine 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. dark corn syrup 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. broken pecans dash of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 frozen shallow (9-inch) pie shells Beat together margarine and sugar. Add eggs, corn syrup, pecans, salt, and vanilla. Spoon into pie crusts and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 2 pies.
