POTTED TURKEY PATTIES
(Low Calorie Weight Watchers Recipe)
2 tsp. margarine, divided
2 Tbsp. diced onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
8 oz. ground turkey
1 egg
1 slice white bread, crumbled
salt and pepper
2 tsp. flour
1 pkg. instant chicken broth,
dissolved in 1 c. hot water
1/4 c. skim milk

In small skillet, heat 1 teaspoon margarine until bubbly
and hot; add onion and garlic and saute about 2 minutes. Add
mushrooms and saute until softened, about 5 minutes. Transfer
to medium bowl; add turkey, egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper;
stir. Form mixture into 4 equal patties and sprinkle with
flour. In a 10-inch skillet, heat remaining margarine. Add
turkey patties and cook until browned. Add dissolved broth;
mix and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 10
minutes. Mix milk with flour and add to juice to thicken
sauce.
