BOUNTY RICE

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. each chopped onions and
green peppers
1 (14 1/2 to 16 oz.) can
tomatoes (2 c.)
1 Tbsp. each salt and chili
powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 c. cooked rice
4 c. shredded cabbage (about
1/2 lb.)
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. grated Monterey Jack
cheese

Saute ground beef, onions and green peppers until meat
is lightly browned. Stir in tomatoes, seasonings, rice and
cabbage. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until cabbage is
tender-crisp. Stir in sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover 2 to 3 minutes to melt cheese. Makes 6 servings; 373
calories per serving.
