LO-CAL HI-TASTE CHICKEN

1 fryer, cut in parts
1 fresh lemon or 3 Tbsp. lemon
juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped onions

Dip chicken pieces in lemon juice, coating all over.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano. Place in shallow pan
and brown in 400 degrees oven about 10 minutes on each side. Mix
remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Reduce tempera-
ture to 350 degrees and bake chicken uncovered until tender. Makes 4
servings, 271 calories per each serving.
