BANANA TEA BREAD
(Reduced Calorie Recipe)
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. melted shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
2 medium bananas, mashed
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, baking
soda and salt together. Combine eggs, sweetener and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture stirring only until flour is moistened.
Fold in mashed bananas and cinnamon. Turn into a well greased
loaf pan (7 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 2 1/2-inches). Bake 60 minutes or
until done. Each serving contains 123 calories, 3 grams
proteins, 5 grams fat and 15 grams carbohydrate.
