SESAME TOASTED FRENCH BREAD 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves 1/4 tsp. paprika 1 Tbsp. olive oil 8 diagonal sliced French bread, 1/2-inch thick (4 oz.) In a cup combine sesame seed, thyme and paprika; set aside. Lightly brush one side of bread with oil, sprinkle with sesame mixture. To toast indoors: Preheat broiler to hot. Place seed side up on a rack in a broiler 4 to 5 inches from heat source until golden, about 30 seconds. To toast over coals: Place seed side up on a rack 4 to 5 inches from hot coals until bottom is toasted about 1 minute. Yield: 8 slices. Per slice 62 calories. To toast sesame seeds: Cook and stir in a small dry skillet over medium heat until golden, about 5 minutes.
