SACCHARIN PICKLES 6 lb. cucumbers 1 tsp. mustard seed per qt. 1 tsp. salt per qt. white vinegar (weaken if needed) 18 to 20 (1/4 grain) saccharin tabs per jar Soak cucumbers in ice water for 6 hours or overnight. Drain and pack in quart jar. Add mustard seed, salt, saccharin and vinegar to cover in each jar. Cold water bath cook 5 to 8 minutes.
