RICH ALMOND COOKIES - SALT FREE 1 c. (2 sticks) soft unsalted margarine 1/2 c. sugar 2 egg yolks 2 Tbsp. water 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract 2 1/2 c. sifted flour Cream margarine; gradually add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy. Thoroughly mix in egg yolks, water, almond extract and flour. Force dough through pastry tube or cookie press onto ungreased baking sheet; use any shape de- sired. Bake in hot 500 degrees oven until golden, about 7 to 12 minutes. Makes 84.
