CABBAGE AU GRATIN 2 c. cabbage, chopped in approximately 1/2-inch pieces 2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs 1 c. milk (skimmed) 1 tsp. butter flavor 1/4 tsp. salt dash of pepper 2 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated Combine cabbage and bread crumbs in a small casserole and mix thoroughly. To skim milk, add butter flavor, salt and pepper; stir and pour over cabbage and crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cabbage is tender. Sprinkle grated cheese over top and replace in oven until cheese is melted. Serves 2.
