SUGARLESS CAKE

1 c. raisins
2 c. water
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp. sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine raisins in water and simmer for 15 minutes; let
cool. Add beaten egg. Add soft shortening, rolled oats,
sweetener and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, baking soda and
cinnamon. Mix all together well. Pour into greased 1-layer
cake pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
