REDUCED CALORIE BANANA BREAD

1/2 c. Weight Watchers
margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs (or Egg Beaters)
5 small bananas, mashed
1 1/2 c. Bran Buds or whole
bran
1 c. plain flour, unsifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix margarine, sugar, eggs, bananas and vanilla in large
bowl. Add bran and let stand 5 minutes. Mix dry ingredients,
then blend into banana mixture. Pour into loaf pan sprayed
with a nonstick spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes
or until center is done. Cool. One loaf makes 12 slices at
152 calories per slice. Regular banana bread has approximately
217 calories per slice.
