SLIM SKILLET STIR

1 1/2 lb. ground veal or
ground turkey
2 medium green peppers
1 medium onion
2 c. cooked rice
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 dash of hot sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 c. water

Spray skillet and brown ground meat. Slice peppers and
onion thinly and add to meat; stir-fry until crisp tender. Add
mushrooms, tomato sauce, water and all seasonings. (If you
like it spicy add the dash of hot sauce.) Simmer just until
everything is good and hot (2 or 3 minutes). Serve over rice
or stir rice into mixture and let everyone help themselves.
Dieters should count 5 ounces protein, 4 ounces rice, 1 serving
fruit.
