SOUR CREAM DROPS 1/2 c. oleo 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sour cream 2 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 2 c. chopped nuts Burnt Butter Icing: 1/2 cube oleo 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. powdered sugar 2 to 4 Tbsp. hot water Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs and sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Cover and leave in refrigerator 2 hours. Bake rounded teaspoon of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Burnt Sugar Icing: Brown butter carefully. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and enough hot water for proper consistency.
