SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES|
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 well beaten eggs
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
3/4 c. strong cold coffee
1 c. light molasses
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses.
Beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture
alternately with coffee. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie
sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
