DUTCH HUSTLE CAKE|
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 egg, beaten
1 1/3 c. flour
Scald milk and add sugar, salt and butter. Dissolve
yeast in warm water. Stir into milk mixture. Add egg (beat-
en); add flour and beat until smooth. Spread in pan. Top with
apples. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Let
rise for 40 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Drizzle
with thin frosting.
